Editorial team and process
Every guide on Betregions is researched, written and updated by the Betregions Editorial Team. This page explains who is responsible for what we publish, how we choose our sources and how to report a mistake.
Who is responsible
The Betregions Editorial Team is responsible for everything published on Betregions: the country guides, the homepage and the policy pages. We publish under the team name rather than under individual bylines, and every guide shows the date it was last updated.
Markets we cover
Our guides are written market by market, because licences, payment methods, bonus rules and tax change from one country to the next. Coverage currently includes:
The guides for Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon and Senegal are written in French; the others are in English.
How we choose sources
- Licences — the registers and notices published by national regulators, such as the Gaming Commission of Ghana, the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Kenya, the Gaming Board of Tanzania and LONASE in Senegal.
- Laws and tax — the relevant act, finance law or tax authority notice.
- Products, payments and offers — the operator’s own website, terms and help pages, together with the country-specific offer details operators supply to us as partners.
When a figure such as a bonus amount, minimum deposit or payout time cannot be confirmed for a country, we leave it out or describe the offer in general terms. We do not publish scores, star ratings or awards.
What we check before a guide is updated
- Whether each operator accepts players from that country
- Deposit and withdrawal methods
- Local currency support
- Minimum deposit information
- Bonus conditions
- Licence references
- Responsible gambling information
- The “updated” date at the top of the guide
Commercial relationships
Betregions is funded by affiliate commissions, and the bookmakers in our tables are brands we work with commercially. Our affiliate disclosure explains how this works, and our editorial policy sets out the rules our guides follow.
Corrections
If you find something out of date or wrong, email [email protected] with the page address and, if possible, a link to the source that shows the correct information. We check it against the source, correct the guide and update its date.
